Our company was founded in 2008 but inherits the many years of experience in the sector of its Technical and Sales Manager Claudio Mazzucchelli, active since 1989 first as a musician, sound engineer, owner of a musical instrument shop and then as a sales agent on behalf of a well-known Italian distributor of audio brands.
In the first years our commitment was to establish ourselves as an A/V design services company, adding technical resources to our workforce and seeking ever greater quality both in designing and in our procedures, operating for large Corporate entities, public bodies, architecture and engineering firms and System Integrators; since 2014 we have been consultants for the design of multimedia entertainment systems on board the new MSC cruise ships. In 2019 the growth path continues by introducing into our organization chart graphic resources which, in addition to technological design, are capable of developing and giving shape to ideas, also strengthening the concept design’s creative part.

CM Srl acquired since 2012 the certification of its Quality Management System according to ISO 9001: 2008, lately updated to the ISO 9001: 2015, for the activity of “Provision of design and consultancy services relevant to audio, video, integrated technologies, multimedia communication and entertainment systems”.

Our design activities are predisposed for the evaluation – the realization – the verification – the exercise and the maintenance in accordance with the best practice of the systems and must be considered done according to the good professional technique in compliance to the indications of the UNI and CEI guidelines.
For CM Srl the design of the systems represents a part of a multidisciplinary work, which is intended to be drafted contextually to the project of the work as a whole; we consider indispensable the collaboration between CM itself, the Client, the Architects and the Designers of other disciplines.
CM Srl’s approach to design is focused on the needs of its Client, towards whom we act as a partner and not just as a supplier.
CM Srl is a founding member of SIEC – SYSTEMS INTEGRATION EXPERIENCE COMMUNITY, an Italian association founded in 2012 which brings together producers, operators and designers in the audio, video, lighting and control systems integration sector, with the mission of promoting and supporting the integration of AVC systems in Italy.
Within SIEC, CM Srl took part in the drafting of the UNI-PdR 4:2013 reference practice “Audio-Video and Controls (AVC) integration services – Requirements for design, installation, configuration, calibration, programming and technical verification” dated 21/11/2013, document which formed the basis of the technical rule UNI 11799:2020 “Audio, Video, Lighting and Controls integration services – Requirements for design, installation, configuration, calibration, programming and technical verification”), the first Italian standard regulating the AVC sector at a national level; we also collaborated in the drafting of the UNI-PdR 5:2015 reference practice “Recommendations for third-party conformity assessment to UNI-PdR 4 “Audio-Video and Control (AVC) integration services – Requirements for design, installation, configuration, calibration, programming and technical verification” dated 12/11/2015.
